Carino's Italian is a United States-based chain of Italian food casual dining restaurants. It has more than 170 restaurants with branches in about 30 states. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the concept is owned by Fired Up, Inc., which was founded in 1997 by partners and former Brinker International executives Norman Abdallah and Creed Ford. Prior to 2006, restaurants were called Johnny Carino's Country Italian, Johnny Carino's Italian then changed to Carino's Italian Grill.




5 Meat Tuscan Pasta

Italian sausage, ham, bacon, pepperoni, green bell peppers, onions with bowtie pasta in a zesty meat sauce, topped with Asiago and Parmesan cheeses – A Carino’s Italian classic.

Serves 4

2 tablespoons olive oil                                                                                    
2 teaspoons fresh chopped garlic                                                               
1/2 cup Italian sausage, cooked and sliced 1/4"                                       
1/2 cup ham, diced                                                                               
1/2 cup bacon, chopped 1/4"                                                                  
1/4 cup pepperoni, chopped                                                                   
1/4 cup green bell peppers, diced 1/2"                                                    
1/4 cup yellow onions, diced 1/2"                                                      
salt and pepper to taste                                                                      
2 1/2 cups meat sauce                                                                               
20 ounces bowtie pasta, dry                                                                      
1/4 cup Asiago cheese, shredded                                                          
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded                                                       

Grill Italian sausage until done.  Cool and slice into 1/4” pieces.  Add olive oil to a large sauté pan at medium heat.  Once oil is heated, add garlic, sausage, ham, bacon, pepperoni, green bell peppers, yellow onions, salt and pepper.  Sauté until bacon is cooked, peppers and onions are soft. Add meat sauce to saute pan. Cook penne pasta according to package directions.  Drain excess water and then toss pasta with contents of sauté pan. Place Five Meat Tuscan Pasta into designated serving plateware, garnish with Asiago and Parmesan cheeses.
